Womens empowerment committee
This Committee will discuss issues affecting women on college campuses, such as sexual assault, women’s health, stigma, campus safety, discrimination, and more. The committee will meet on a monthly basis. Along with discussing these pertinent issues, the Women’s Empowerment
Committee will pursue ways to make Kent State’s campus an environment where women can thrive, succeed and feel safe by pursuing initiatives through Undergraduate Student Government and working with university administration.

This committee serves to look out for the needs of undergraduate students in the College of Business Administration. Serving on the Committee allows students to get involved with USG on a lower level and get involved with your college and make a difference.

The College of Nursing's Senatorial Committee
The Committee's members meet 2-3 times a month and work closely with the College's Senator. By serving on this committee, members will plays a significant role in helping create, reform, and shape policies in the College of Nursing. College of Education, Health and Human Services Senatorial Committee

The College of Education, Health and Human Services Senatorial Committee serves as an advisory body to the Undergraduate Student Government Senator and plays a significant role in helping create, reform and shape policies in the College of Education, Health and Human Services. Serving on this committee is an excellent opportunity to become more involved in your college and make a difference on campus!
Committee on Outreach
This committee will be tasked with overseeing the Ambassadorship program, Senatorial Committees, and helping maintain contact with the Regional campuses. The committee will also table and flyer at Kent State events monthly. You will be tasked with creating at least one student engaging event a semester that USG will sponsor in order to expand and diversify our outreach to the undergraduate student body.
Committee will meet on a bi-weekly/monthly basis for approximately one hour to discuss outreach tactics, check in on duties and responsibilities, and ensure that campus awareness of USG is being boosted.

Committee on governmental affairs
The Governmental Affairs Committee is responsible for running Kent State Votes.
The Committee will be to represent the student body of the Kent Campus when advocating for higher education. The Committee will work with the Governmental Affairs Department of the University to plan trips to the Ohio Statehouse as well as to the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.). The committee will also organize a yearly voter registration drive in collaboration with Kent State Votes while working on legislation to incorporate voter registration in the First-Year Experience Course. Among these duties, the Committee on Governmental Affairs will work to keep Undergraduate Student Government updated on matters involving higher education as well as inform them about upcoming conferences or conventions.
